The UniFi Dream Machine, by Ubiquiti, is my foundation recommendation for WiFi systems in homes and small offices.

It’s a small, attractive package that contains an integrated 4×4 MIMO Enterprise Access Point, 4-port Ethernet Switch, and UniFi Security Gateway and Network Controller. It provides a complete solution for your network, and is expandable with UniFi WiFi Access Points and Switches.

In a small house, office or apartment, the Dream Machine is all you need. Bigger areas and certain kinds of construction (Like older plaster-and-lathe walls or metal coated glass) may require more UniFi WiFi Access Points for full coverage. If you have Ethernet running around your building, a UniFi switch will connect everything together.

Professional Management

Another advantage of all UniFi systems, including the Dream Machine, is the ability to invite an administrator to see and configure your network settings. This can be a big benefit when addressing performance problems, WiFi coverage, or privacy and security. At Purissima Technologies, we work on UniFi systems every day. We can configure your Dream Machine for optimum performance and security.

Even with all its power, the Dream Machine is so easy to setup and use, that you can do the initial setup and then invite us to come finish the configuration of the more advanced features.
